Elaeagnus × ebbingei
Ebbinge's Silverberry is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub with leathery, silver-green leaves that are brilliantly silver on the underside. In October and November, small, creamy-white, wonderfully fragrant flowers appear. The plant is remarkably versatile: excellent as a hedge, windbreak, or specimen. Tolerates sea wind and urban conditions.
