Care guide

Plant in full sun in a sheltered, warm spot in well-drained soil. Water regularly during the growing season and feed monthly with liquid fertiliser. Protect the base with a thick layer of mulch in cold winters. In regions colder than zone 7, container growing is advisable.

Pruning tips

Prune after flowering by trimming back overlong and dead shoots. Thin the interior to improve air circulation. For overgrown plants, you can hard prune to 60 cm in spring.
