Is identifying plants free?
Your first garden scan is free, with a free account. In your free overview you can save two plants. With Premium you scan and save unlimited plants, for €3.99 a month.
Do I need to install an app?
No, the garden scan works in the browser of your phone, tablet or computer. On your phone you take the photo straight away with the camera.
Which photo works best?
For the garden scan: one photo in daylight, landscape, with as much of your garden in view as possible. For a single plant: a sharp close-up of a leaf or flower. A dark, blurry or distant photo gives fewer results.
How certain is the identification?
Every plant shows how certain the match is: certain, likely or possible. If in doubt, take a close-up of a leaf or flower; that gives the best result, and you confirm the species.
Can I make a garden design with the same photo?
Yes. With a photo of your garden you can also make a preview of a new design, and that preview is free. The full HD design with plant list costs €7.99, one-off.
How garden design worksCan a gardener take on my garden?
Yes. With your plant overview, or a design and its plant list, a gardener sees at once what is there and what you want. Where gardeners near you work with GardenWorld, you can also send a request right under a finished design.
GardenWorld for gardenersWhat happens to my photo?
Your photo is only used to identify your plants and is not used to train models. Your scans and plants are stored in your account; if you delete your account, we erase everything within 30 days.
