Guía de cuidados

Plant in full sun against a warm, sheltered wall — trumpet vine needs heat for rich flowering. Use well-drained, fertile soil. Water regularly during the growing season. Protect young plants in their first winters with a thick layer of mulch.

Consejos de poda

Prune in late spring (March-April) by cutting all side shoots back to two or three buds from the main framework. Remove dead and damaged branches. The plant blooms on new wood, so hard pruning promotes flowering. Remove root suckers to prevent uncontrolled spreading.
